“The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001”.

Applies to:-

Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Sites, e.g. Factories, Shops, Offices, Hotels Schools and Public Sector Buildings in England, which store any type of oil in a container of more than 200 litres capacity. Private dwellings storing over 3500 litres are also included but it should be noted that Building Regulations reduce this to 2500 Litres. Storage on farms is subject to The Control of Pollution Regulations 1991. Domestic dwellings on farm land are covered however. By 01.09.05, all installations must be bunded.
